MEET THE TEACHER

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Demetrice Johnson and I am an assistant teacher at Pre K Prep. I have ben an employee here for one year and I love teaching. Being a mother of three daughters and one grandson, I tell my children, they will use everything they learn at school later in life, but just in different ways: cooking, construction, law, medicine, etc. My philosophy on learning was given in the Word of God, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”(Prov 22:6 ESV)

My Education

I graduated from Southeast High School in Macon, GA., where I went into the United States Air Force as a Medical Assistant. I served four years at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS before returning home. I worked as a med tech in Pediatric ICU where I learned to be a receptionist as well as telemetry reader. I will be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at UNG this coming fall in Early Childhood Development. I am CPR certified and also a Sunday school teacher for one-two years old at Christ Place Church in Oakwood, GA.
